MADLIB Instructions
Mad Libs, one of those ever-so-fun games you used to (or still) play as a kid,
involves filling out "spaces" in a story with nouns, adjectives, adverbs, and
other things, without seeing the story. Once you have finished filling in the
spaces, you get to view the (often hilarious) results.
A NOUN is the name of a person, place, or thing. Car, dog, monkey, mouse,
grass, and head are all examples of nouns.
A VERB is an action word. Fly, jump, run, walk, type, and hum are all verbs.
An ADVERB, or "-ly" words describe how a verb is performed, ie. quickly,
horribly, mysteriously, etc.
A GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION is any place, ie. the United States, Hawaii, etc.
A EXCLAMATION is any word connoting surprise, ie. Wow! Ouch! Omigosh! and so on.
These are only a couple of examples, you may be asked for specific things like
names, parts of the body, etc. in different MadLibs.
When a madlib specifies a PLURAL noun or other type of word, make sure you
pluralize the word.
